Check your next roadworthiness inspection date in your documents. When calling, state the engine type and ask whether you need an emissions test alone or a regular inspection too.

Confirm required documents, the price and an available appointment time with the station before visiting.

Pay attention to faults

The operator’s testing requirements refer to the exhaust system and vehicle fault indicators. If there is damage, leakage or an illuminated Check Engine warning, arrange diagnosis first.

A vehicle’s condition should be improved by fixing faults, not disabling warning indicators.

Keep the results

Ask how measurements and explanations of any non-compliance are provided. If the result is negative, discuss next steps and retesting conditions directly with the station.
