LEZ.kz website analytics

The website uses first-party analytics and Yandex Metrica. First-party analytics records random visitor, session and event identifiers; time; page path; language; device category; browser; time zone; screen size; traffic source; UTM parameters; and interaction events such as navigation, clicks, scroll depth, engagement time and technical errors.

The server does not store a full IP address in its first-party analytics log. It combines the IP address with a secret salt to produce a shortened one-way hash. The analytics does not request visitors’ names or phone numbers. Yandex Webvisor session recording is disabled.

First-party analytics is configured with a 400-day retention period; expired daily files are removed during subsequent system activity. Events are kept in a protected directory on the LEZ.kz hosting account, and access to the report is protected by a separate token.

Yandex Metrica and browser storage

Yandex Metrica receives visit information under Yandex’s privacy policy. In the browser, LEZ.kz uses local storage for a random identifier, session and first-touch attribution data, a queue of unsent events, and the analytics opt-out setting.

You can disable LEZ.kz analytics with the control in the website footer. The setting applies to the current browser; clearing browser data may reset it.

Google data in LEZ Analytics

The desktop application connects to Google Search Console only after the user gives explicit permission on a Google page. It uses the webmasters.readonly scope. The application does not receive the Google password and cannot alter Search Console data or settings.

For the configured LEZ.kz property, the application retrieves aggregated search-performance data: query, page, date, country, device type, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. This data is used to analyse search visibility and improve website content.

Local storage and deletion

OAuth tokens and other connection secrets are stored locally using Windows Credential Manager and a DPAPI-protected backup for the current user. Downloaded reports and the query log remain in the local LEZ Analytics database on that computer and are not sent by the application to the LEZ.kz server.

The database retains the latest 120 synchronisation snapshots. The Google search-query log has no automatic expiry and remains until the local database is deleted. Google access can be revoked in the Google Account.

To remove all local data, delete the %LOCALAPPDATA%\LEZAnalytics folder, the LEZAnalytics:yandex-token, LEZAnalytics:google-credentials and LEZAnalytics:internal-token entries in Windows Credential Manager, and any CSV files created by the user. Uninstalling the application does not automatically remove this data. For data enquiries and requests concerning information available to us, contact 2114422@list.ru.

Use and transfer of Google data

Search Console data is used only to display statistics, analyse search queries and prepare local reports. The application does not sell this data, send it to advertising services or disclose it to third parties. A CSV export is shared with another person only if the user chooses to do so.

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
