Purpose of the application
The application combines aggregated data from Yandex Metrica, LEZ.kz first-party analytics and Google Search Console. It shows traffic sources, viewed pages, interactions with key controls, search queries, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position.
The application is intended to analyse and improve LEZ.kz content. It does not identify an individual visitor and is not designed to monitor specific people.
Google Search Console access
Connection takes place on a Google page through OAuth. LEZ Analytics requests only the read-only Search Console scope, webmasters.readonly. The application does not receive the Google password and cannot change the website, Search Console settings or user permissions.
After permission is granted, the application downloads search queries, pages, countries, device types, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position for the verified LEZ.kz property. Google may omit rare queries under its privacy rules.
Storage and protection on the computer
Google, Yandex Metrica and first-party analytics tokens are stored in Windows Credential Manager and in a backup encrypted with Windows DPAPI for the current user.
Downloaded statistics and the search-query log are kept in a local application database in the current Windows user profile. This local database is not represented as separately encrypted, so access to the Windows account and computer should be protected using normal system controls.
Managing access
Google access can be revoked in the Google Account security settings. Local connections and history can be removed by deleting the LEZ Analytics application data from the computer. Uninstalling the application may not by itself remove user data stored in the Windows profile.
